About Jayne
I qualified from the University of Huddersfield in 1992 and went on to work in the NHS where I became a senior member of the Diabetes team, working closely with GP practices and the specialist team at the Royal Calderdale Hospital. During my time there I continued to study, gaining further post-graduate certificates in Health Promotion at the University of Huddersfield and in Diabetes Care at the University of Warwick.
In 2006 I left the NHS to set up a private mobile podiatry service which I have run happily since. My latest venture is a new clinic in Kirkheaton established in 2019.
I still continue to keep abreast of new developments in the field of Podiatry, regularly attending training and conferences to keep up to date with current practice. In 2018, I achieved a further certificate through self study in Dementia Care and I have taken advice from this when setting up my new clinic to ensure surroundings are safe and comfortable for all my clients, whatever their needs may be.
I offer a wide range of podiatry treatments to my clients in the comfort of the newly established clinic, using my 30 years of experience in the profession.
As a local resident myself, I am excited to join the business community here and welcome clients old and new to Kirkheaton Podiatry in the heart of this thriving village.
